Sleeve tattoos have always been a popular choice. A sleeve tattoo is one that generally starts at the shoulder area, encompasses the entire arm and usually stops at the wrist. The half-sleeve tattoo and 3/4 sleeve tattoo are variations of this. Generally the half-sleeve tattoos start at the shoulder and end before the elbow and 3/4 sleeve tattos are a bit longer. A sleeve tattoo can also be applied to the leg in much the same fasion as the arm. This type of tattoo has a higher level of difficulty due to the planning involved.
